Our house is now a home.
It feels like the before hung around way too long,
but alas, the after has arrived.

We purchased our home in the fall of 2007.
There were two trees in the front side by side but by the time
I snapped this photo John had already chopped one down.
I knew this house had good bones and lots of
potential.

Taking out the driveway was a must. The courtyard gives
our family privacy and takes away
the converted garage look.
Taking out one of the two mountain ash trees
was a must also. Sometimes less is best.
